My name is Karen, and I just created my Steemit account earlier today. I was pleasantly surprised when my account was approved a few hours later so here I am excited to write my first Steemit post. Woohoo!! π
Here is a brief introduction about myself:

I was born and raised in sunny South Florida, United States. My parents are both Japanese, which makes me second generation Japanese or δΊδΈ "nisei" π English is my more dominant language as I only speak Japanese to my parents. However, I do speak Japanese fairly well (if I may say so myself).
This is my boyfriend of ten years. His name is Jose, and I am truly lucky to be in love with my best friend π We met through mutual friends when I was a senior in high school. Oh, how time flies! He's actually the one who introduced me to the cryptocurrency world, and we both started investing in it last month (May 2017). And guess what? It's been such an exciting past couple of weeks!
