Hello fellow Steemians!

My name is Joyce Veronica, but you can call me Joyce or Veronica (whichever you like). I am the 9th among the 10 children in the family . Yes, I have a handful of siblings, nieces and nephews but being in a big family is fun. I was born and raised in the southern part of the Philippine archipelago, General Santos City. As for my age, uhmmmm...It's just a number... Hahaha! I am really young at heart. 😊

I am a nurse by profession and I had been in practice for over 10 years (so that gives you an idea how young I am). Being a nurse for that long, I have met a lot of people in all walks of life, heard their stories of failures and successes, witnessed their joys and pains, and learned from their experiences. It also gave me an opportunity to touch other people's lives in so many different ways.

I also love to travel, go on nature trips (mountain climbing, trekking, hanging by the beach, diving, etc.) and try extreme adventures. Unfortunately, after my injury last year, my doctor advised me to refrain from doing extreme activities. However, that won't stop me from exploring the Philippines and the rest of the world.

In my spare time, I like to write just about anything in my Facebook account but I keep those notes private. To be honest, I was a little apprehensive about signing up in Steem because I am such a techy idiot and I know so little about blogging but Kayenine has encouraged me a lot and that boost of confidence really helped. Thank you, Sissums!😘

Here in Steem, I will be sharing with you guys a variety of ideas. I may write about my life, my latest trips, milestones, views on different issues or subjects, just about anything under the sun. I guess, that's one of the perks of this platform. It's limitless... I am excited to learn more about this medium, meet more people and appreciate the wonderful works of other Steemians. I am looking forward to what the Steem community has in store for all of us. See you guys around!
