Greetings to the @steemian community!
I am Jhon Carl Mascardo (@jcmascardo), a student taking up Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, third year student. Steemit was introduced by my very own sister (@sheeneshane). My attention was caught the moment she mentioned the word blogging.
Blogging has been my interest since late 2017. I always have a good time in expressing myself and articulating my interest in life.
before starting my own blog, I was so into reading blogs that focuses on fashion, lifestyle, editing, and food. It was David Guison's blog that spelled blogging for me. A confession - I am an avid reader of his blog (dgmanila.com).
Now, allow me present to you some photos of me.
That is me wearing the PPE (Personal Protective Equipments), not the complete one though because we are just a visitor in the construction site as seen. Had a short photoshoot while on break - blogging purposes.
Hardships
A little story about my experience in the site visit:
White touring the construction site under the direct hit of the sun, I had a little thought about why I chose to be an aspiring Civil Engineer. My conviction was tested because I am really a sun lover. I mean, I love watching sunsets and sunrises, but never did I wish to be exposed to the heat of the sun for a long span of time. But then I decided to persevere in this field I have chosen - laban lang (Filipino expression of Fighting) !
College | Challenges
- sleepless nights
- mental block during critical and important moments
- stage fright
- long hours for transportation alone
- undesirable weather
- terror teachers
These might lead to a disaster but it is a must experience things to complete your college life.
After all of these hardships I took in life, I needed to loosen-up myself and relieve myself from the pile of stresses inside me. This is when I made blogging my companion.
Leisure
During my free-time, I find myself at ease doing some blogs. Blogging is my way of releasing the negative energy out of me, and then beautified - want to bring good vibes to others.

Fashion Blog
Let me show you a photo from my blog that is for fashion statements.
This is one of the shots taken inside our school; me wearing a @terranova sweater, @smyouth pants, and a @adidas shoes. This attire is so comfortable especially on cold weather.
I give special credits to the sweater because it is really relaxing because of the cottons (don't know what it is called - haha!) inside.

This is the most exciting and fun thing to do because usually, I just take random snaps on my travel and it turns out to be great in my humble opinion - gotta praise myself or no one will do. Allow me to show you some of my creations.
