Introducing IntinteDAO

Hello, we're IntinteDAO, and here's our Introduce Yourself.

Technology has its advantages and disadvantages, and I think everyone knows that. The Internet was created as a system for communication, but over time it has developed into an area of freedom that various interest groups are trying to control in different ways.

Linux (and open source software) was developed as an alternative to software that stifles people with its license provisions.

However, the problem is not that the software is not there, but that it is not popular for various reasons.

What's our plan?

In general, our plan is to develop projects that respect your freedoms - Freedom of expression, freedom to receive information without manipulation, freedom to use things for any purpose. We have different plans that we want to fulfill

  1. People's education. As we have already written, technology is often ready, but people have no idea how to use it or for what purpose. For example, do you encrypt conversations with your friends? What if someone is listening to you? Is it possible to defend against it? What if the services of various kinds are listening to your phone? What to do? Is it possible to escape from it?

  2. Developing various solutions today. It often turns out that a given solution is very interesting, but it does not develop very well. An example is e.g. the Yacy search engine, which is a decentralized project of an Internet search engine. It happens that we are able to push the project a little bit forward to better develop.

  3. Creating new solutions. It happens that people do not open up to new technologies, because they require investments that they do not want to make. For example, many people play computer games, and on Linux (or other systems) there is not much of it. We are able to create new software that will make it easier to follow the freedom side.

For freedom, our ancestors died. Although today's world does not require it, we are able to sacrifice a lot to regain it.

Cooperation

At the moment, IntinteDAO cooperates with two organizations:

  1. Tipu, a project designed to promote Steem users on this platform. I think everyone knows this project, so I won't go into details too much.

  2. Peer Freedom (99% will be the official name) is an organization developing various decentralized projects such as Bitcoin or Fediverse. We have very similar plans (although we will probably implement them differently). The organization itself is very big, with 30 people, so there is quite a lot of power in this field.

Do we have any interesting projects?

I hope so ;) Generally on our chat you have access to their entire list, where you can discuss them (although there is no description for some of them), but in short:

  1. The Many More Channel, apart from entertainment applications, has an educational role in the field of cryptowalut.

  2. Some of the projects are different types of games that are supposed to provide entertainment. Of course, they are created using software that is free (free) and works on many hardware platforms (there shouldn't be any problems with e.g. recompile games on Raspberry Pi). Of course, games are created with free software in mind (and it has such licenses), so you can build your own game on Linux or BSD without much problems. We also try to work with the "recycling" method, which means improving old projects or missing ones and giving them a new shine. For example, the YGOPro engine itself does not allow gaming, but thanks to the "Summoned Monsters" project it is practical.

  3. Some of the programs are systems supporting cryptovalutes - e.g. various services and shops.

However, we are still stuck in finance. So what if we can create free (from freedom) internet in Wroclaw as architecture will amount to several hundred dollars ... but maybe one day :)
