Day 12 in Steemit - a little more of me

This is not my first presentation, but it is the first time that I tell you in detail about myself and my altruistic passion.

Yes! she is me, the "crazy" dog, as some call me. Day by day my life is full of different stories, unique moments, joys and sorrows. It is not just about giving the animal a chance, it is about giving love and getting the best out of you so that the living being understands if there are good things.

Nature shows us its strength daily and tells us that we are not its owners, that we are its children and that we must take care of it, just as we care for our biological mother.

It's not just about dogs, it's about all living beings on earth. We are all important to the earth and we all have a special place in it.

(She is Martina, a baby turtle.)

It all started when I was a five-year-old girl. In Venezuela it is common to see animals stuck to the asphalt, killed and destroyed by irresponsible people.

Do you know how difficult it is for a five-year-old to see that?

I cried when I saw him, I cried a lot. My depression was evident once I got home. I did not want to eat, I did not want to leave, I did not want to talk.

I was confused. I remember that I came to think that I lived surrounded by monsters and that these monsters killed living beings and I did not want to leave my room.

I did not think only of humans. I also thought about the plants, the trees, the animals.

My imagination was wide, and every day I thought how to fight against the monsters that surrounded me and save all living beings from those "monsters"

After these events, my parents explained that without a doubt, animals, humans and plants "die" and that it was something natural, but that without a doubt those monsters I spoke of were humans who murdered other living beings.

Maybe it was a little clearer to me, but I was even more devastated to know that those who committed these acts were human, like me!

My parents had a very good idea for me, to recover from my first disappointment in life. We would help all the animals that were abandoned. In fact, that's where my passion began.

I am 24 years old and today we continue to monitor the welfare of many in a situation of abandonment.

We can not with everyone anymore. Previously there were few animals in street situation, but today due to the destruction in which my country is sinking, and because many irresponsible people leave, they leave their animals abandoned.

They are not irresponsible to leave. They are irresponsible for leaving them.

Would you leave your child alone on the street?

Many say that it is a very strong comparison, that "a child is not a dog" speaking pejoratively. But...

Did you know that a dog has the same innocence as a five-year-old child who believes in monsters?

Today I celebrate my first 12 days at Steemit with one of the most important stories of my life. I intend to show you who I am the last of each month.

By the way: I love the natural in all aspects of life. Did you notice that I almost never use makeup? I do not hate makeup, only that I learned to accept myself as I am, regardless of whether my dark circles and other defects are visible.

I'm like this! and who wants to love me, must see the defects and then the soul.

My life is based on rescue, recovery and after that the adoption of these animals. At this moment, there are 17 animals that live in my house, destined to live with me because many people do not want to adopt because of the situation in our country.

Honestly, it does not bother me that they stay with me.

“No me importa si un animal es capaz de razonar. Sólo se que es capaz de sufrir y por ello lo considero mi prójimo“. (Albert Schweitzer).

“I do not care whether or not an animal can reason. I just know he is capable of suffering, and therefore I consider my fellow man” Albert Schweitzer
