Dear Steemians,
First of all I would like to introduce myself on this platform as a true coffee lover and passionate steemian. I am from India and I am one of the firm believers of the saying that a Lot can happen over coffee. 
I was introduced to steemit platform accidentally. A few days ago I was sitting in a coffee shop called Cafe Coffee Day. This is a Indian coffee chain which is quite popular among Indian youths and techies like me. Whenever i feel the challenges in professional or technology life i try and go to the Cafe Coffee Day outlet near my office.
I was alone that day and was hearing the conversation between two unknown ladies. It was the afternoon time and nobody else was in the outlet besides three of us. I had no option but to listen to the funny television advertisements and the ladies' conversation. One of them was telling about the meetup of steemians in Manglore.
The ladies had aggressive plans about starting on steemit and dumping facebook. I was in front of laptop and searched for Steam and found nothing, then searched for steamit and google asked me whether i wanted to search for Steemit. I applied for the account from the Cafe Coffee Day.
Then after a day i got an email saying my account was approved and the first thing i searched was "India".
I really found the information of the meetup in India.
I would like to thank you to @firepower, who organised this meetup in India. I guess it has mass impact on the participants at large.
In last few days i have understood that Steem is as addictive as Coffee. I remember I bought the shares of the Cafe Coffee Day out of pure love for the coffee without thinking its profitable or not, similarly i bought my first cryptocurrency after getting introduced to Steemit. I have not been able to trade in the Steems yet as the Poloniex has banned the accounts, but 
truly I am loving it. I admit its better than facebook or twitter.
