My name is Sacha aka BahamasMermaid!

I am thrilled to finally launch my Steemit blog! I am a blogger after-all and I am absolutely fascinated with Steemit!
I heard about Steemit from a dear friend and I thought to myself....why not give it a chance! I already love sharing my photos and experiences on social media so this will be a piece of cake (I hope!) Lol!
So more about me....I am a Bahamian. My parents are both Russians who migrated to The Bahamas way before I was born. My family and I live on a beautiful cluster of islands in The Bahamas known as the Berry Islands.

My mother is a famous underwater photographer and for most of my life I was (and still am) her model (and muse so she says). I am obsessed with the water! In another life I am certain I would be a mermaid! (I actually got to be a mermaid a few times in my modeling career, more about that in another post!) I also love to travel and take pictures (I'm not as great as my mom, but I'm getting there!)
