SoCCs (Social Capital Credits)
Social Capital is a community’s propensity to undertake tasks for collective good. SoCCs incentivize and reward acts of collective good, thus bringing people together in a manner not possible otherwise. In AI projects, SoCCs have brought together people from different ethnicities, castes, and skills that would otherwise have no reason to meet and empathize with each other.
Our local partners are nonprofit organizations, governments or corporations that want to use SoCCs to serve their communities. Vendors and service suppliers that agree to accept SoCCs in exchange of good or services work with the local partner. Large vendors like telephone companies may provide the goods and services as part of their CSR (Corporate Social responsibility) initiatives. Smaller vendors like storeowners or skilled craftsmen may exchange SoCCs received for a predetermined cash value or use SoCCs to obtain services for themselves from other SoCCs vendors. This system will approach a closed loop where the community members provide and receive goods and services with SoCCs, thus increasing the velocity of transactions within the community, leading to prosperity without sole dependence on money

SoCCs App
Our goal is to make SoCCs a digital platform, where people can gain, redeem and share their SoCCs points instead of using a written diary. You will have a personal profile similar to a social media platform. Upon opening our SoCCs app you will find a homepage with a news feed, in the newsfeed page you can share your activity and receive notifications of your SoCCs community. The other main activity will be to earn and redeem SoCCs points. By clicking on the earn button you can sign up for different activities available to better the community. By clicking on the redeem button you can see all the available options you can use your SoCCs points to exchange for a service or item. We dream for SoCCs to be a global social currency accessible to all.
