I GOT MARRIED RIGHT AFTER GRADUATING COLLEGE! (A short peek of my life story)

Hello everyone! I am super excited and very happy to finally get to be here. As an introduction I will be sharing a short summary of my life story to you peps.

Year 2017 was a year that most of my peers were excited to start (legally) bar hopping, finishing up college, and trying to explore the real world. I was about to become responsible for another human life.

I was 20 weeks pregnant during graduation day. It wasn’t easy for me to get there of course. The last few days before that was terrible. I had so many struggles, so many challenge to face, so many questions in my mind and so many what ifs. I was about to give up and just let it all go, but it’s like there’s this little angel in my head that kept on telling me to move forward. And so, despite all the challenges and struggles, I made it, I graduated!

It was planned unexpectedly that we must be married before the baby would come out to this world after our parents had already known about the breaking news. Of course it was not easy for them to hear about this but they accepted it anyway and it all went well in the end.

September 30th Vince and I were united in the love for our little bundle of joy. It was very thrilling because I’m almost due to my labor during those dates and my tummy was already big and looks like it was gonna pop out anytime soon. So I had to be careful in everything I do and as much as possible avoid strenuous activities.

And so it was already October and still, no signs of labor. We waited and waited but still nothing, until I got overdue. Pregnancy overdue means your due date has come and gone — and you’re still pregnant, the reason why my obgyne decided to induce me. But after long hours of contractions and pain, still the baby just won’t come out and worst her heartbeat kept getting faster, and that is why they called for an emergency CS. Yes I went through Cesarean Section.

Finally, October 13, 2017, 11:45pm, Friday the 13th, our little pumpkin was born! We named her Avery Venice. She is a girl, she just looked a lot like her dad. Lol. Weight is 3.75 kg which is equivalent to 8 pounds something. She looked like a 1 month old baby already when she was born, that is why I got CS because she had become bigger and bigger inside my tummy.

There are times when I am fearful that I have missed out on something. That I missed a part of my youth that I won’t ever be able to get back. There are times that I am afraid that I am not doing this mom and wife thing right.

But there are also times when I feel like the universe has blessed me beyond measure. I might be a young mom, but I am the mom to the world’s healthiest little girl. I might be a young wife, but I have the world’s kindest husband and our relationship is built upon a foundation of true love and hard work. I might have missed out on some things, but I am learning to trust the path that has been set for my life.

That would be all for now. Thank you for reading!
