Hoy quiero mostrarles una receta que hacía mucho tiempo quería probar y aunque adapté algunos ingredientes con los que tenía en casa, debo decir que quedó muy rica. Es una ensalada de pasta coditos con vegetales a la que podemos agregarle, un poco de pollo, pero hoy le agregué jamón arepero en trocitos. Es una forma diferente de comer la pasta y con tan solo verla provoca por la cantidad de colores que aportan los vegetales, que en este caso nos colaboran con los nutrientes, vitaminas y minerales necesarios para nuestro organismo.

Today I want to show you a recipe that I had wanted to try for a long time and although I adapted some of the ingredients I had at home, I must say that it turned out very tasty. It is an elbow pasta salad with vegetables to which we can add a little chicken, but today I added diced ham. It is a different way of eating pasta and just looking at it provokes the amount of colors provided by the vegetables, which in this case help us with the nutrients, vitamins and minerals necessary for our body.

INGREDIENTES

- 1 Tomate. - 1 Zanahoria. - 1 Papa. - 250 gr de pasta corta. - 200 gr de jamón arepero. - 4 Cucharadas de Crema de Leche. - 2 Cucharadas de mayonesa. - una taza de guisantes. - 1 Taza de maíz dulce. - Sal al gusto.

- 1 Tomato. - 1 carrot. - 1 potato. - 250 gr of short pasta. - 200 gr of ham arepero. - 4 spoonfuls of cream of milk. - 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise. - 1 cup of peas. - 1 cup of sweet corn. - Salt to taste.

Preparación//Preparation

Lo primero será cocinar nuestra pasta. para lo cual colocamos agua y cuando este hirviendo agregamos la pasta, al estar al dente retiramos y reservamos.

The first thing to do is to cook our pasta, for which we put water and when it is boiling we add the pasta, when it is al dente we remove it and reserve.

Picamos la zanahoria y la papa en cuadritos. Colocamos la zanahoria a sancochar, cuando comience a ablandar agregamos la papa para cocinar también, ya que esta necesita menos tiempo para cocinar. Cuando estén listas retiramos del fuego y reservamos.

Chop the carrot and the potato into small squares. We put the carrot to boil, when it begins to soften we add the potato to cook also, since this one needs less time to cook. When ready, remove from heat and set aside.

Picamos también el jamón y el tomate en trozos pequeños.

We also chop the ham and tomato in small pieces.

Tomamos una ensaladera y vamos a colocar la crema de leche y de mayonesa, mezclamos hasta formar una crema. Luego vamos a agregar la pasta y la unimos lo suficiente a la crema, hasta que quedé bien bañada.

Take a salad bowl and add the cream of milk and mayonnaise, mix until it forms a cream. Then we are going to add the pasta and we join it enough to the cream, until it is well bathed.

Seguidamente agregamos los guisantes, el maíz, la zanahoria con la papa y el jamón. seguimos mezclando y se me había pasado el tomate pues lo agregamos también, seguimos mezclando y rectificamos de sal.

Then add the peas, the corn, the carrot with the potato and the ham. We continue mixing and I had missed the tomato, so we add it too, continue mixing and add salt.

Podemos comerla de una vez o llevamos a la nevera unos minutos para luego disfrutar de esta deliciosa ensalada de pasta con vegetales. Nosotros la disfrutamos con un poco de pan, pero bien la pueden acompañar de un rico bistec o milanesa de pollo y a disfrutar en un almuerzo perfecto.

We can eat it at once or take it to the refrigerator for a few minutes and then enjoy this delicious pasta salad with vegetables.We enjoy it with a little bread, but you can accompany it with a delicious steak or chicken milanesa and enjoy a perfect lunch.
