Hi people, my name is Ayomide, and i'm a major lover of books, particularly books on ancient wars, heroes and military history generally. I find it really fascinating and awesome to be able to imagine through books, how people like Julius Ceasar, Sun Tzu, Alexandra the Great, Genghis Khan, Leonidas(yeah that Spartan in the movie 300), and other notable guys single-handedly decided how battles would end.
To that, i decided to take up two degrees, with the first in Policy and Strategic Studies(with military thought as my minor), and the second in History and Strategic Studies( with military history and contemporary warfare as my minor).
History if and when presented properly is awesome and major fun and helps the imagination run wild.
A large number of us grew up with certain figures as our heroes and so i'll also be bringing up these characters in my posts, highlighting their heroics, their weaknesses, their rise to stardom and how their lives ended. Also, major battles that shaped history, and the strategies and tactics used.

Major wars, heroes and legends across the continents in differing centuries would be my focus. However, i'd start with Europe, as many intriguing wars and characters that graced the sands of time were in Europe.
Not to forget, i'll also examine myths and legends, particularly Greek Myths, with special focus on Achilles(my personal hero), Zeus, Poseidon and the other gods, and also the Titans.
The whole idea behind this is to bring the fun side of history, and draw lessons that would valuable for life.!
