The original 8086 processor arrived on the market on June 8, 1978 , almost 40 years ago. This anniversary is a great opportunity for Intel, because the 8086 nomenclature fits perfectly into the eighth generation of Coffee Lake processors .

At the moment, the i7-8086K had only been seen in pages of Chinese stores, so the veracity of the information was questioned, but today several Canadian, Russian and Italian stores have added it to their catalogs, as it tells us. the Videocardz portal, with which the rumors begin to take shape. These pages show that the i7-8086K would have a base frequency of 4 GHz and a boost of 5 GHz, which is an improvement of 300 MHz overall compared to the i7-8700K. Besides, it is indicated that it is a six-core Coffee Lake processor. As for prices, an increase of 70 euros compared to the current processor is considered. Finally, we could expect a release of the i7-8086K by June 5 together with the Z390 motherboards, in the context of theIntel press conference at Computex 2018.
