I posted a track by Tubby Love recently, and I had to follow up with one by his queen Amber Lily. These two are powerhouses of positive music, vocal alchemy, and precise production. They are also so beautiful together in their sacred relationship, and it is my pleasure to call them friends and ohana.
This song came into my life at the perfect moment. I was undergoing transformation as I completely changed the circumstances of my life and livelihood. I let go of many cultural constructs, and chose my heart path, my soul's path, which is to be a rainbow warrior. To honor and guide the 'aina (land in Hawaiian) so that we may thrive in harmony. To live pono, as we often say here in Hawaii. Pono means excellence, righteousness, making the right choice for all parties.
