This is my journey towards finacial freedom and success on the steemit platform. By documenting my progress in these post I hope to motivate myself to keep going and grow as a daily blogger. I'm confident that I will achieve my goals through hard work, discipline and desire. I will also be documenting my daily affairs to keep record of my lifestyle and to make sure I'm working towards the goals that I have put in place.
Brief Description of My Goals
The 2 main things that I'm going for are financial freedom (F.F.) and success on the steemit platform. For me financial freedom is the stage in life where you can decide wherever whenever regardless of any 9 to 5 job. My main source of income would come from long terms investments such as real estate or Steemit. This is also where success on steemit comes in. My goal on steemit is to build up a significant audience and increase my influence on the platform. I don't really have numbers in mind when it comes to my stake in the steemit platform but number such as 500 SP, 1000 SP, 5000 SP, etc. are obvious milestones I will be working towards.
Progress on My Goals
Today was a good day for my Steemit account because I managed to once again put out two steemit/dtube posts (my aim is to post at least one post a day). I finished editing and recording my first proper Dtube video (it can be found by clicking here) regardless of a big set back I experienced. Yesterday I had a long Fortnite session with friends of a couple hours, which I thought I recorded, but when I checked the file this morning I noticed that I recorded a black screen the whole time. Quite a bummer but there's nothing to be done other than starting from scratch. And that is what I did.
So on a positive note I learned that there's no point in raging about a set back. You should just find your focus again and start over.
My Day
I woke up at 9:30 AM today, that's normal for me on Saturdays, and checked Steemit, responded to comments and chatted with (new) friends on discord. After breakfast I planned some time to study, which I did. After I found out I recorded a black screen and decided to record a new (shorter) session. I wrapped up editing a couple of hours later before uploading my video to Dtube. I'm eager to see how my video will be received, we'll see. For the remainder of the day I plan on starting a new novel, I finished the other one yesterday and playing some more Fortnite with friends.

My goal with the current portfolio is to gain as much Bitcoin and Steem. Altcoin profits will be converted into BTC when I am satisfied with the resultst. Steemit earnings will be directly reinvested into the platform.
A little bit more red today. Pretty much everything is down a couple percent. The marketcap is still hovering around the $430 billion mark so it's seems like we'll stay put from there. Bitcoin dominance is also climbing back to 40% so it seems as if the money in the alts is being soked up by Bitcoin. NANO's short term bull run has peaked and I'm still happy that I sold some despite not entirely getting the top. Buying back range will be >0.001 BTC.
