Splinterlands SlumLords Progress July 2024!

It's been a few months since my last update and here's the latest overview....

Screenshot 2024-07-20 at 22.04.07.png

  • 260 SPS/ day
  • 960 Research points/ day

I've been moving PP resources from Research to SPS and skimming the later!

The reason for this is that the value of research points is unknown, and the way things are going it's going to be worth not a lot down the line!

Down in the Dumps

Splinterlands is having a hard time of late... lots of people getting OUT.

I mean it is what it is, something like 90% of capital never gave a shit about the game aspect of it, it's just a Vest, and that's probably now mostly exited.

I've sold some along the way, and done pretty well out of it all, so hands up, but I've kept a lot in too.

Whether it all turns around IDK, touch and go I think, we need a crazy bull market, I think that's what we're all hoping for...

Region Development...

25% developed, could be worse I suppose!

The caslte is, naturally yielding me a little more!

Returns....

So the 240 SPS I get is worth around $2 a day, that's $60 a month or $720 a year.

That's on the following assets

  • $6.5K worth of cards
  • $2K worth of land (I'm rounding down A LOT, it's probably where things are going)
  • $2K worth of DEC

= $10.5k OF ASSETS.

So that's a 7% return....

So assuming that people think a 10% return is decent, prices probably won't go down much more than they are already.

And that's not factoring in Research Points or the occasional totem.

It's not really worth selling off the capital amount ATM.

And SPS earns you currently 7% on the rental market too, although that could be heading down to 3% soon, but even so, I anticipate selling of main assets to ease up, maybe not SPS, that's the cash cow.

Staying the course!

I'm sticking with the game, whatever, I mean the land aspect at least, hoping it will actually develop into, well, an actual game at some point!
