Bomb at Ariana Grande Concert Kills 22 People, It's a World Reaction

MANCHESTER - World leaders have reacted to a horrific bomb attack at Manchester Arena, England, the location of American concert singer (US) Ariana Grande. This bomb attack killed 22 people and injured about 59 others.

The bomb blast occurred at the end of an overnight concert. The British police declared it a terrorist attack. Temporary suspicion, the explosion comes from suicide bombs that detonated offenders.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau gives condolences to the Manchester people. "The Canadians are shocked by the terrible news of Manchester's attack. Please remember the victims and their families in your mind, "wrote PM Trudeau on his Twitter account, @ JustinTrudeau, Tuesday (5/23/2017).

US politician Nancy Pelosi also sent a message of solidarity. "The Americans stand up with the people of Manchester, England, after the terror attacks tonight," Pelosi wrote via his Twitter account, @NancyPelosi.

"Tonight (this morning WIB), the Americans share in the shock and sadness of the real terror attacks in Manchester. We are heartbroken by the loss of so many innocent young people, falling after joy, "

Condolences also came from New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio.

European leaders also expressed similar condolences to the victims and their families. German Chancellor Angela Merkel through her spokeswoman Steffen Seibert wrote a condolence speech on Twitter.

The new French President Emmanuel Macron called on leaders to counter terrorism. "My thoughts are to the British, the victims and the people they love. We lead the war on terrorism together, "Macron said.

Indian leader Narendra Modi criticized the horror attacks. He prayed for the dead and the wounded.

"(We) are depressed by the attack in Manchester. We strongly condemn him. Our thoughts are with the families of the victims and prayers for the wounded, "wrote Modi via his Twitter account, @ nendendramodi.

Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull described the explosion as "an attack on innocent people".

"This incident, this attack, is very heinous, especially (attack) criminal, terrible, because it seems deliberately aimed at teenagers," he said before parliament.

"This is an attack on innocent people. Surely there is no more reprehensible crime than the murder of children. "
