What could be the most successful unification of a country's people against the Tyranny of 1st world Government's and their Economic Feudalism, The People of France and the Yellow Vest movement is an inspiration to us all when citizens set aside wedge issues,and act cohesively on the ones that affect the 99% of us all, namely the Economy.
Meanwhile here in the United States.... cricket's. I have not heard a whisper from anything remotely mainstream American on the 20 weeks of protest by the people of France. There is absolutely no talk of the French protests at work, and even the Alternative Media has given the topic much discussion, ( We Are Change does have 2 videos at the bottom of ths Post, Thanks We Are Change!)
The People of the United States of America had an opportunity for a real Yellow Vest moment. In 2008 the U.S. had an opportunity to legitimately storm the Bastille, and crack the Tyranny of Wall Street with whole Prison's needing to be built just to house Wall Street, and the banking industry. We all know how that played out...
A quote from Matt Taibbi who best documented the 2008 financial crisis with his classic article,"How Wall Street Is Using the Bailout to Stage a Revolution". Taibbi's article is still relevant as if he wrote it yesterday intead of of almost a decade ago, "People are pissed off about this financial crisis, and about this bailout, but they’re not pissed off enough. The reality is that the worldwide economic meltdown and the bailout that followed were together a kind of revolution, a coup d’état. They cemented and formalized a political trend that has been snowballing for decades: the gradual takeover of the government by a small class of connected insiders, who used money to control elections, buy influence and systematically weaken financial regulations."
That statement by Matt Taibbi speaks bold truth about an issue that 99% of us all face all across Western Civilization including the continent of Australia!
It's never too late for a Revolution to occur in the U.S. Not likely though. Right now the Social Engineer's are playing games pitting Crony Capitalism against Socialism. In the U.S. you only get 2 choices, not Capitalism, but Crony Capitalism which is run by Corporate Socialists, and the fictitious Socialist's are out there somewhere plotting to destroy the American way of life. I truly hope the citizens of France truly accomplish what the people of the United States have yet to do in the 21st Century. A public victory for Social and Financial Justice with real dignity.
When the people unite, and cohesively take a stand against Tyranny in a pure grassroots manner, it is a truly terrifying moment for those at the top of the pyramid of power. I salute the people of France!
