They have been doing this for 6 to 150 millennia. It's nothing new. What is new is that we have become aware of these scandals.
The many of us who are not yet aware of this, they better get rid of their dissociation soon. There's a better word for it, but it won't come to mind. Cognitive something. They better ditch their ego, and their cognitive dissonance. That's the expression I was looking for.
