President's candidate, Prabowo Subianto explained the matter of 'Make Indonesia Great Again' which he had raised when he touched on the campaign slogan of the President of the United States Donald Trump. Prabowo did not accept that he had plagiarized Trump.
"How come it's traced? Who told you to ask? Where are you from? How come it's traced?" Prabowo said at the Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel
Prabowo's statement answered reporters who asked if he intended to copy Trump's slogan. The candidate number 02 then immediately explained the meaning of the slogan 'Make Indonesia Great Again'.
"So, I'm saying that other nations, 'Make America Great Again' may, why can't we? Why, are you inferior?" he said.
Prabowo wants to show that Indonesia is also a strong country. He said he wanted to improve the fate of the people.
"You're not proud of being an Indonesian? Not a traitor. I want my nation to be strong. I want my people not to be poor," Prabowo said.
The question of 'Make Indonesia Great Again' was made by Prabowo in the LDII National Working Meeting on Thursday (11/10). At that time he touched on the Trump campaign slogan in the 2016 election which reads 'Make America Great Again'.
