Di atas aspal jalanan menghembus panas,
Terik matahari yg menyilaukan mata
Mendorong gerobak untuk mengusung
Kaki kecil ini tetap kokoh mencari tumpukan sampah
Jari jemari ku dgn cepat mencari sampah yg layak untuk d jual
Bekerja keras untuk sesuap nasi

Kadang d pandang dgn tatapan tajam dan cemoohan
Yg ku telan dalam² sebagai doa
Jadi pemulung d anggap pekerjaan yg rendah namun ku anggap ini pejuang lingkungan tanpa anugerah

On the tarmac road blowing hot,
The blinding sun
Pushing the cart to carry
These little legs remain firmly looking for a pile of garbage
My fingers quickly find trash to sell
Work hard for a bite of rice

Sometimes look with sharp eyes and ridicule
I swallow in prayer
So scavenger d consider low job but I consider this environmental fighters without grace
