Game NES : KARATEKA

Hello Steemian !! Good morning steemian wherever you are, hopefully healthy conditions always and always be in the protection of God Almighty. Reunite with @foarsyad, on this Wednesday morning I will share a post about the game titled Game NES: KARATEKA. Immediately we see with steemian?

Karate is a martial art that comes from Japan. Today the term Karate comes from two words in the kanji "Kara" which means empty and "Te" meaning hand. Karate means a martial art that allows one to defend without weapons. That's why someone who learns karate should not only pay attention to the technical and physical side, but also pay attention to the equally important mental side. As the age continues to grow, the physical condition will continue to decline. But the mental state of a Karateka obtained through the old practice will form the perfection of character.

Karateka in this game is a 1984 martial arts action game by Jordan Mechner, and is his first published game, made while attending Yale University. It was originally programmed for the Apple II, then much ported. The game is published in North America by Brøderbund, and in Europe by Ariolasoft. Together with Swashbuckler (1982), Karate Champ (1984) and Yie-Ar Kung Fu (1985), Karateka is one of the earliest fighting games.

This game is popular in the 1990s, many people play the game in the form of a Vid-shaped game vidio. Game is in the form of cassettes in the form of plot, this game is loved by the young to the children in his era. In playing this game the players need skill and focus on the opponent who will be in the opponent. Because this game uses the batle system with the enemy in the face and experience different levels every level.

The kick-kick spins, salto in the air, until the balls of the balls shine from two directions, this is what you may think when talking about fighting games. In the past, especially in the NES era, games with such martial themes are much simpler in present in different formats. True, we are talking about Karateka!

The iconic music will accompany the action of your main character who must fight to defeat every enemy that is confronted by super simple karate action. There are no absurd cool movements like today's fighting games. You can only rely on punches and regular kicks, for the upper and lower body parts, while trying to keep the distance. Simple? Almost most of the gamers who had tasted this game never seemed to finish it.

The player controls an unnamed protagonist who tries to save his love interest, Princess Mariko, from Akuma fortress castle. The game features a combination of side-scrolling platforms and fighting game elements similar to the beat 'em up. Players use punches and kicks to defeat Akuma and his bodyguards and make his way deeper into the castle.
