After defeating the robot, Fat Cat appears and reveals that "Mandy's kitten" is just a nuisance so he can kidnap Gadgets and force him to work for him. Fortunately, Gadgets can contact Chip and Dale by building a cordless phone and sending maps to them through carrier pigeons, allowing them to navigate the treacherous scenes and reach the Fat Cat casino where he was detained. After rescuing him, Gadgets provide squirrels with rockets that send them to Fat Cat's hideout so they can defeat him.
