Selamat pagi Steemit dimana pun kalian berada. Pagi ini saya akan berbagi ilmu mengenai nama latin Lintah.
Lintah dan pacet adalah hewan yang tergabung dalam filum Annelida subkelas Hirudinea. Terdapat jenis lintah yang dapat hidup di daratan, air tawar, dan laut. Seperti halnya kerabatnya, Oligochaeta, mereka memiliki klitelum untuk menyimpan telur-telur pada segmen-segmen tertentu. Seperti Oligochaeta, lintah juga hermafrodit (berkelamin ganda). Lintah obat Eropa, Hirudo medicinalis, telah sejak lama dimanfaatkan untuk pengeluaran darah (plebotomi) secara medis.
Lintah dibedakan dari pacet bukan berdasarkan taksonomi, tetapi lebih pada habitat kesukaannya. Lintah sehari-hari hidup di air, sedangkan pacet sehari-harinya melekat pada daun atau batang pohon (di luar air).
Semua spesies lintah adalah karnivora. Beberapa merupakan predator, mendapat makanan dari berbagai jenis invertebrata seperti cacing, siput, atau larva serangga

Leeches and pacettes are animals belonging to the phylum of the subclass Annelida Hirudinea. There are types of leeches that can live on land, fresh water, and sea. Like their relatives, Oligochaeta, they have a clitoris to store eggs on certain segments. Like Oligochaeta, leeches are also hermaphrodites. The European drug leech, Hirudo medicinalis, has long been used for medical expulsion (plebotomy) medically.
Leeches are distinguished from pacet not based on taxonomy, but more on their favorite habitat. Leeches daily live in water, while the daily pacet attached to the leaves or tree trunks (outside water).
All species of leeches are carnivores. Some are predators, getting food from different types of invertebrates such as worms, snails, or insect larvae
