The seeker celebrated the independence of Peru with a doodle, a work by graphic artist Elliot Tupac.

The beautiful design that will be seen this Friday by Peruvian users who use the search engine presents Machu Picchu and the flight of a hummingbird. It maintains a ' chicha ' style, characteristic of the designs of Tupac.

Google describes it like this: "... capture the breathtaking natural beauty of Peru, from the slightest flapping of the hummingbird's wings to the peaks of Machu Picchu."

In its portal dedicated to doodles, Google recalls that the Fiestas Patrias in Peru are celebrated with pisco and ceviche.

"The festivities begin in Lima with a presidential speech, a 21-cannon salute and a flag-lifting ceremony." Regional celebrations include musical performances in Squares and parks, and street fairs that offer delicacies such as ceviche and pisco, he describes.

Meeting the open Cabildo of the city of Lima (Peru) is declared, next to the people, the independence of Peru from the Spanish domination and any other foreign domination. General José de San Martín, along with the red and white flag that accompanied the revolutionaries during the campaign, proclaims and vows the independence of Peru in the Plaza Mayor of Lima with the following words: "Peru from this moment is free and independent by the general will of the peoples and by the righteousness of their cause that God defends." Long Live the Fatherland! Long Live freedom! "Long live Independence!" On August 2, San Martín will take the position of "protector of Peru" immediately to organize the creation of a provisional government. (196 years ago)
