A new kind of business — imusify, the future of blockchain based applications

I lately discover imusify and recently wrote a great post about the platform, and how I believe it will change the future of the music industry.

As a musician, record producer, and DJ myself, I've always wondered why musicians strictly don't get more, unless they are big pop stars.

Well, it comes from decentralization, which rules our world these days: one service gathers everything, and liaise fans and artists alike, in the case of streaming, and people pay for such a service.

But what if one day, we could exchange information or upvote for music we love without spending a dime for these terrible streaming platforms? What if also musicians could finance themselves and make a living out of their music?

With blockchain, the reality may reach us the same way Facebook swallowed us a decade ago. Except that with blockchain, it's for a good purpose: make musicians entrepreneur so they can manage their own royalties and career.
