Approximately 60% of all emails that are send are untargeted.
This has created an email marketing industry which is underserving both the mailer and the recipient.
For consumers they are finding their inbox crammed with low quality emails which irrelevant to their interests and buying preferences.
For marketers the situation isn’t much better. Email marketing produces suboptimal results as frustrated recipients don’t read the content or even worst mark it as spam.
EMMARES is a new blockchain startup that wants to transform the existing paradigm and make email marketing work better for everyone involved.
EMMARES stands for Email Marketing Reward System. It facilitates a system which enables advertisers to provide rewards to email recipients for evaluate the mail that they receive.By scoring the email content, the quality of emails that people receive improves.
Advertisers will place into a reward pool Emmare tokens (EMA). These will then be distributed to the email recipients who evaluate the emails.
For advertisers this serves a number of valuable purposes. They are able to get immediate feedback on the quality of the emails that they are sending and to see which emails people are responding positively to.
As they improve the quality of their emails, they will become more visible with the EMMARES
ecosystem, enabling them to reach even more targeted readers.
For the recipients of the emails participation is way of earning valuable tokens while reading content that they will actually enjoy. Over time the quality of emails that they consume should improve as email marketers respond to the rating system.
