Ice hotel church
The idea To build a church came to me 2 years ago , Edith was fine with it (lucky me)
So we start building it , how cool is it to build your own church and merry in it!!! But unfortunately the weather was bad, too warm. It was a big delay and we had to suspend the wedding for another year!
And that year was 2017! We start building again! Tjäsa (she was also in Rorschach)was asking us to help design the Reception,Hall, and church!
Than we heard that she had cancer! The wedding was not sure now. But lucky the cancer was not terminal and she got treated, 1 week before we started still nothing was sure, Tjäsa was very weak because of the treatment.
When we arrived in Jukkasjärvi we started with the hall and reception. Hoping Tjäsa will arrive when we start the church. She came just on the right time so we made arrangements for the wedding. The Ice hotel arranged everything!, clothes, tax office ride, wedding ceremony and a 6 corse dinner!!
Because the church was made off ice and snice we also wanted to make the rings out of ice as well (snice is a combination of snow and ice )
So the wedding begins at 17:00 on the 21 th of December .
It was a wonderful, a fairytale feeling experience ,

First thing we lid a candle for the ones who couldn’t be there. And a candle as a thanks for the Icehotel crew!
The rings melted slowly so in the end I eat it! Tjäsa also sings a nice song to us !
It is nice that the idea of building a church and have ice rings, that everything will melt away back into the Torn river! but our love will still be there! No evidence:)
If we get ever divorced we going to make an ice bar;)
