Practice really makes perfect when it comes to cooking

I recently really started cooking a lot and I really doubted myself thinking I'm gonna mess up a lot. Don't get me wrong, I did mess up a few times. Okay, I messed up a lot. But I always managed to fix it every time. Not only the first time I made it, but also when repeating the dish. And people really enjoyed my food. I was contemplating going the culinary route and becoming a chef at a restaurant, eventually opening my own, but I had to pursue other ambitions cause of realistic reasons. Who knows though, since I found out I have the talent, I might try again.
