Hello Steemians,
those of you who came to Steemfest know how good it is. Those who didn't, should join next time.
I love the relaxed environment and the valuable contact we establish with each other.
So... How Was My Day?
It started with a tasty and healty breakfast at the hotel.
That was until I saw the creamy and delicious...
Next I headed to the the bus! OUR BUS! (Not only one but 5 of them)
I liked some people went there to touch the upvote button before actually getting in.
We quickly got to the venue: Centro Cultural de Belém.
When we got inside guess what was waiting for us...
Food! And among other things... more pasteis de nata.
It was time to work. The task was now to study the programs of both rooms and choose which talks to attend.
@roelandp introduced the whole thing and gave us some insights of what was the plan for the day
then @ned showed us where steemit is and where it can go if we all work well enough.
@vandeberg talked about slightly more technical details. It was good for us to get an idea of what to expect next.
@sneak kept the things going with more technical details about very important issues such as the scalability of the platform
@jeff7 taught us about ICOs and how to spot the good ones and the bad ones. The background he gave about how ICOs are somehow replacing venture capital was particular interesting.
@surfermarly told us her inspiring story right before lunch. Everybody was hungry but we all forgot about that while she was talking. It was very very nice.
LuNcH TiMe!
And right after we had a talk by @dollarvigilante who spoke about his own experience in Steemit and gave his views on that should be improved next in the platform.
The steemit crew were talking and mostly answering questions about the platform issues, difficulties, short-term goals, 2018 roadmap, SMTs, etc. I liked a lot this moments. I feel now I know the faces behind the scenes.
Finally I listened carefully what @ballinconscious had to say about hypnosis (which has nothing to do with the kind of images he was showing in this slide). Interesting and powerful stuff.
and then... it was
DiNnEr TiMe!
We had a very nice fish.
And as far as I could understand everybody enjoyed very much the dessert!
The night was pleasant, it was not too cold and some people came outside to get some fresh air...
... before we all went back to the buses
Final destination: Snooker Club
and what was there waiting for us?...
MORE FOOD
As you can see in the video bellow, everyone had a great time. I found out some Portuguese and Brasilian Steemians I didn't know before and I had the opportunity to talk with some very nice people.
I HAD A GREAT DAY!
Thank you all!
