Hurricane Florence could be a nightmare for the Carolinas and Virginia.
In preparation, 1.2 million people in the Carolinas are ordered to evacuate. These are people living in the coastal areas who are at risk not only of the winds but storm surge.
Historically, 90% of deaths from hurricanes come from water and not wind or objects falling related to the wind.
