A Big Game Hunter's Dream Team

dreamteambucksgreg.jpg

A Boone & Crockett Record Book class Mule Deer is an extraordinary animal by any measure. Scarce as hen's teeth they be, and it would be reasonable to speculate that a hunter could spend an entire hunting career in the badlands of the American West and never see a truly great buck.

I believe that both of these bucks are record book contenders. How can I be sure, you might ask?

Well, I have been watching them come along for a few years now, and I have had quite an eye full. And this year, they are truly spectacular.

Either one would be a trophy of a lifetime.

Considering the time of year, they still have quite a bit of growing to do before their antlers harden off and the rut begins...

With eternal hope, we wait...

Long live the big-eared beast!

"Really big mule deer bucks can still be found in many areas of North America, and often when you least expect it. Killing one, however, is an entirely different matter.

Success may require a new look into the meanings of determination, patience, and humility. You may also become intimately familiar with the concept of an animal's "sixth sense". For I can assure you - they have it!

To hunt him is to know him...as well as anyone can" - Michael Patrick McCarty
