"If you are in search of a new fable (tablet phone) but do not want to pay a fortune on your iPhone X or Galaxy Note 8, there is little reason for your new phone to be named Huawei Mate 10 Pro."

It's a bit more expensive than the budget-friendly Huawei Mate 10, but it comes with a fantastic set of hardware. Pro's features include a Mobile HDR-ready OLED display, a very fast CPU (CPU), more memory and an incredible battery life.

In addition to all these exciting features, the relatively pocket-friendly price tag makes the Huawei Mate 10 Pro a great choice for anyone with a big screen. The only flaw we've found in Pro against all of this is that Huawei is using the phones on his EMUI Android user interface to annoying mistakes.

Design
If the design of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro is almost identical to the Mate 10 phone you know, it's not a bad thing. The design is similar to the mix of metal and glass used in the Galaxy Note 8 and iPhone X.

With its lightly curved glass back face and sturdy metal front, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro is one of the most beautiful phones on the market.

At the back, the fingerprint scanner, just below the dual Leica lenses, proved to be fast and reliable in our experiments. If we try the lower speaker with the increasingly popular USB-C charging input, it is very good enough to make healthy video calls, even if it does not sound very loud.

Workmanship is also perfect. Unlike cheaper phones, the glass backside is quite durable and unexpectedly resistant to scratches; The phone that we accidentally put in a pocket with bad money was not damaged.

We could not come to see the IP67 certificate. So we took the phone to the kitchen and tried to strangle it in cold blood. But Mate 10 Pro managed to survive based on these initiatives.

On the other hand, we do not think that the glass-coated backside is very resistant to shocks. So you should try not to drop it to a hard surface. Though this risk is present in almost every phone with glass cover.

128GB of internal storage is much larger than most users would need. That's why it's not a big problem if you do not have a microSD memory card. It is also worth noting that there is no conventional 3.5mm headphone input on the Mate 10 Pro.

Screen
The biggest difference between ordinary Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro is their screens. The Mate 10 has a traditional LCD screen, while the new Mate 10 Pro is OLED. If we are more specific; 6 inch HD + HDR 10 OLED. The Mate 10 uses a simpler 5.8-inch quad HD LCD screen.

Some may not find the screen resolution to be sufficient, but we are able to meet the demand of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The more difficult you are to your eyes, the more you will not be able to see each other.

The phone is OLED panel, one of the best in the market right now. Without a terrible calibration like Google's Pixel 2 XL, Pro's screen can display vibrant, warm touches without escaping oversatisfaction.

Although the whites are a little dull in the face of a well-tuned IPS panel, they are cleaner than the OLED panels we have seen so far. It does not have yellow and blue tones like the various competitor phones with AMOLED display. The screen, which looks black as ink, also does not leak any backlight.

Brightness levels are high at last and meet the Mobile HD 10 standard. Due to the lack of HDR content for Mate 10 Pro yet, we can not comment on HDR performance.

Overall, given the price tag in particular, the Mate 10 Pro's screen easily surpasses expectations.

Software
Huawei is always suffering from mobile software. The main reason for this is that he insists on using his own EMUI user interface. Huawei transforms Android's own simple and intuitive interface into a labyrinth of mazes, so it does not stop unnecessary interaction with its users, but at the same time it comes with a full application that does not work and uses resources unnecessarily.
Although Huawei is using Google's latest Android 8 Oreo software on Pro to solve this problem, the problems are still there. An example of the settings menu is shown. We can call it a user enemy for this menu which is unnecessarily complicated and you can not find what you are looking for.
Applications such as music, calendar, messaging are still in place and provide an advantage over Android's own applications, although the number of unnecessary applications is lower than in previous products.
Performance
Thanks to the new, AI-supported Kirin 970 processor from Mate 10 Pro, the software operations are extremely efficient and fast.
According to Huawei's explanation, this eight-core CPU also comes with a 'neural processing unit' on which a group of performance adjustments can be made for artificial intelligence features. Apparently, this extra processing unit allows the phone to 'learn' and memorize the phone's usage patterns, resulting in improved performance and ease of use.
Thanks to this artificial intelligence unit, time-consuming applications and tasks are shut down to save energy. Huawei also claims that this feature also prevents the slowing down of the phone after a certain period of use, but we will have to use the phone for a few months to recognize it.
The Mate 10 Pro comes with 6GB of RAM for a phone that is pretty much. Still, this memory is performing tremendously with the Kirin chipset. Tab crowd does not slow down the web browser, applications and games are opening almost instantly. Offering seamless audio and video communication, Pro also comes comfortably on top of demanding 3D games.
It is also helpful to add that the Pro is starting to warm up for a long time. It is also helpful to add that the Pro is warming up for long periods of use. In our one-hour Riptide GP2 test, we noticed that the processor slowed down as reheating. But we do not think this is a big problem.

Camera
According to Huawei, the AI unit of the Kirin processor is also used for a twin camera capable of shooting 12-megapixel color / 20-megapixel monochrome images on the back of the phone.

Thanks to this artificial intelligence unit, scene mode is automatically adjusted according to what you are photographing. He knows how to get into a macro mode when you take a flower closely.

Obviously, these auto-detection features are nice, albeit slightly slower, and that's what happens when you notice that you prefer to manually adjust the features over time. However, the camera does not lose anything; especially when compared to the previous generation Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus. Unlike the previous Huawei phones, the camera application is very fast and the user interface is more intelligently organized. Photographs taken under ordinary light do not give a very sharp and over-processed impression. Low light performance improved significantly. Thanks to the wider aperture of f / 1.6, the addition of OIS and a few software constellations (although the shutter speed is slower), there is much less tingling in photos taken in low light, and often results in social media sharing.

As with the Mate 10, the camera still contains a few minor issues that prevent the Galaxy S8 and Pixel 2 from passing the photo performance. In mixed light environments creating difficulties in shooting, colors start to deteriorate and auto-focusing can astonish themselves. Also the contrast in low light is still a problem. Though this problem is not specific to Huawei.

The video footage has a similar story and works well in sufficient light but has difficulty in low light conditions. The reason for this is that Pro is not very reliable stabilization technique.

Battery
If you ask us why Huawei Mate 10 Pro is the best feature unrivaled, our response is battery life. We do not think you'll find another phone with a gigantic 4000mAh battery that is bigger than this, even the same size.

The Pro's battery life lasts for a fraction of a year, with music and music on the road to work and home, a few conversations, regular use of WhatsApp, frequent social media and email control, half- We witnessed two days. This time is very good according to today's standards.

Video playback performance is also impressive. When we streamed video via the phone, the battery life of the Mate 10 Pro per hour was around 8 to 10 percent. The result is much more impressive when you play a video on the phone. Even after watching the second full season of the Stranger Things line, the battery life was still enduring.

The performance of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro is not at all backwards. While running demanding games like Riptide and Sphalt, the battery life of the Mate 10 Pro has changed from 15 to 18 per hour. These results are also on the average.
