Over the course of last year, the FreeCompliments Community has created several consistent jobs that pay out in HSBI. We’ve kept a payroll that has helped with the productivity and growth of the community. Here, I present a position that just opened up! Using the HSBI (Hive Stake-Based Income) model to pay employees allows them to receive permanent [income](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-income) as long as they keep creating posts. This means that even if they work for only a month or so, they’ll have a lifetime income, in the form of votes, as a result of the HSBI Units they receive, provided they keep posting to Hive. # Fitness Friday Writer This job position will consist of writing Fitness Friday posts using the @fc-fitness account through the template that I’ve been using since January of this year, as well as choosing the account that wins HSBI for fulfilling the criteria of Fitness Friday posts! This would be a once per week commitment, to be written between sometime between late Thursday night (ideally after 10 p.m. EST) and Friday morning (ideally before 6 a.m.) every week. Since it’s a template, the only creative portion would choosing be the exercises. The most important aspects of this job would be to creatively come up with exercises at different levels of fitness and activity so that they have broad appeal, and can be performed by members of our community! This, and sending out HSBI to winners, of course. Prior fitness expertise would be a very helpful qualification or this role. # The payment offer This job will pay 10 HSBI per month. Adjustments may be made in the future based on performance. # Continuing to build Hive’s economy by adding different types of jobs The additional creation of jobs with various structures permits the expanding use case of Hive as a payment for services, in line with Hive’s function as [a medium of exchange.](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-medium-of-exchange) Creating multiple types of jobs using a similar payment system provides an initial basis for what can be considered a fair payment, thus establishing Hive as [a unit of account.](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-unit-of-account) The more jobs are created with Hive, the more we will validate its practical value. Once this happens, we will more readily be able to establish a consistent value of assets in terms of Hive, since it will be attached to work requirements; this will establish Hive’s [store of value.](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-store-of-value) Combining all of these factors will turn Hive into functional money. An economy must be built upon functional [money](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-money). This is why we must take steps to ensure that Hive can, indeed, function as intended.
