The pin-up girls represented those women who decided to rebel against the social standards of the time, portrayed as empowered women in terms of their fashion tastes, behavior, and even being respected just as they were, without regard for social conventions. Many figures of this kind stood out among the men going to war in the army, or those who, in a migration (forced or not), left their families behind to embark on an adventure by boat in search of a better future.

After getting the only tattoo I have, I haven't thought about going back to a tattoo parlor to add a new design, but if I did, I think the latest version of this charming waitress would make a nice tattoo for me. And I say the latest version, because originally she had features of a humanized animal, but in her evolution she ended up being a young girl who became a symbol of sensuality without any morbidity, since -according to them- she is only 16 years old!

Perhaps at some point I will dare and let my "Boop Boop a Doop" shine in a new tattoo... Now, where do you think would be a good place for me to do it - if I decide to do so.

Las pin-up girl, representaban a esas mujeres que decidieron rebelarse contra los standars sociales de entonces, representadas como mujeres empoderadas en cuanto a sus gustos al vestir, comportarse e inclusive a que se las respetara tal cual eran, sin miramientos ni convencionalismos sociales. Muchas figuras de este tipo, fueron los diseños que se destacaron entre los hombres del ejército que iban a la guerra, o también los que en una migración (forzada o no) dejaron atrás a sus familias para lanzarse a la aventura en barco, a buscar un futuro mejor.

Luego de haceme el único tatuaje que tengo, no he pensado volver a una mesa de trabajo para agregarme un nuevo diseño, aunque en el caso de que eso sucediera, creo que la última versión de esta simpática camarera sería un lindo tatuaje para realizarme. Y digo la última versión, ya que en principio tenía rasgos de un animal humanizado, pero en su evolución terminó siendo una jovencita que pasó a ser un símbolo de la sensualidad sin morbo, pues -según- ella tiene solo 16 años!

Quizás en algún momento me anime, y haga salir mi "Boop Boop a Doop" en un nuevo tatuaje... Ahora, ¿dónde creen ustedes que me quedaría bien hacerlo? -si es que me decido.
