This week had its highs and its lows.
The starter went out on the 1782 super garden tractor and then the battery gave up. And I blew a tire on the 1450 garden tractor trying to push some dirt and rock.
But not to worry, there were more positives this week than negatives.
I got a new starter from my old man! I scored two Craigslist finds; getting the garden rototilled and bought a used cultivator. And I received my order of 145 trees from the Missouri Department of Conservation. And to top it all off, all my cuttings and seedlings are growing very well. Next week is going to be a very busy week for me on the farm.
A special thanks to Terry Durham at River Hills Harvest and a KC local Eric Hopkins for selling the Elderberry cuttings. They are doing great and cannot wait to put all of them in the ground!!
