Many homesteaders and farmers choose beekeeping as a hobby. The reason being unless you have a good source of flowers and other nectars nearby you can't approach this for honey making as a business. So In this curation I am listing some of the projects which can help your beekeeping hobby. I understand that many homesteaders know a lot about beekeeping already. But I wanted to more emphasis on the DIY side for the beekeeping and so the below curated project ideas.

This is very simple idea. And you can easily do this with the kids. The reason I like this idea is because very few beekeepers are focusing on mason bees. And it's not easy to find someone making use of the mason beehive these days as a hobby. And this hive design is perfect in such case. You can make one and keep it nearby the garden or the places where you can expect mason bees. I planted one near the public garden in my place.

I found this idea really interesting. The reason behind that is here you're going to through a process to understand how the bees will make use of the hive. And also simplicity with which you have to make one such stencil home. Nothing complicated like most of the beehives out there.
