Living in an apartment I get surpriced of how much you can grow if you try! During winter I grow different herbs like basil and parsley but also salads and sprouts. With led-lights the cost of lighting actually is very low and it is so nice to be able to pick your own vegetables and put them directly on the plate!
I have just started the season on the balcony (link) and already have some baby plants!
