HOMESTEAD BACKLOG UPDATE (8) THE MUD BOG And THE TRACTOR

WORK AND FUN

The following account is from March 27th 2021.

Around where I live people love to build trucks and toys to play in the mud with. I don't have the expendable income to do such a thing, but I try to take advantage of this. Recently, I worked security at a mud bog where they do such things. I also went there hoping to sell some of my jellies and Maple syrup.

This blog will mainly be pictures, as there's not much of a story to tell.

ARRIVAL

Upon arrival the place is very clean and almost no one was there.

It was fun to watch as the people showed up...each with a vehicle they built and brought to play with.

The homestead tractor.

It was here that i bought a tractor. It was very cheap(and old) but it ran well and i couldn't pass it up. It's a 25 HP 1956 Massey Ferguson.

All in all it was a great day!!! And I earned a little bit from peddling my goods.

I hope you'll come back and join us for the next backlogged update as we install the needed plumbing for the cabin, inside the cabin.
