I had my oldest in home school for most of high school and would highly encourage if you are considering home school. Know that if your child is the type to use their intelligence to get out of doing things rather than just completing the task at hand, you will find yourself having to sit and monitor their course completion.
I will say that the Florida virtual school system itself is vastly advantageous in comparison. More in depth material. Calls from each instructor every week for updates on progress.
The only downside is no peer interaction face to face.
