7 Reasons Why We Think 'Thor: Ragnarok' Might Just Turn Out To Be The Best Superhero Movie Of 2017 | MUST WATCH.

The hammer-wielding Asgardian is back! 'Thor: Ragnarok' is the third of the stand-alone films by Marvel Comics where the Norse God of thunder is being played by the hunky Chris Hemsworth. The movie paves way for the idea that Thor must prevent Ragnarok, the ancient prophecy that foretells of the destruction of his home planet Asgard. Ever since the teaser was launched, the Internet went berserk over every bit of it. It really seems to be one of Marvel's most promising franchise films and if you haven't checked it out yet, we'll give you a quick heads up about why this might just be the best super-hero movie of the year. Pretty sure you won't be able to resist booking your tickets after reading this:

1 The Early Reviews Are Damn Amazing

Though the movie is releasing on November 3rd, some lucky ones have already watched it through a private screening. And, they couldn't just stop raving about it on the reviews. It has almost 50 reviews and a 98% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes already! What's more, it is dominating social media with more than 1.65 million new conversations and that too just two weeks before the release. Bet there are folks other than Marvel fans who are just as eager to watch the film!

2 Great Comic Timing Mixed With Action

Marvel's always been known for inducing a comical element in their characters. Doing justice to it, director Taika Waititi who has years of experience in comedy has added his magical touch to the film apart from his great cinematic work. In fact, 'Thor: Ragnarok' is apparently more fun and exciting than being high on emotions. But don't worry, there is some major drama as well!

3 This One's Highlight- Academy Award Winning Actress Cate Blanchett

Marvel always ropes in at least one A-list actor for the supporting cast, and this time with Cate Blanchett, it seems like a whole new ball game. She will be portraying the character of Hela, otherwise known as the Asgardian God of death. Being the main villain, Hela is a powerful foe who Thor has to take down. (Spoiler alert: You can expect some major twist here.)

4 The Outstanding Cast And A Surprising List Of Cameos

Well, you know who is back? Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). Yes, for real. He is teaming up with Thor for some badass action, and this time even Loki seems to be on Team Thor. Jeff Goldblum grants some visual splendour as The Grandmaster, Karl Urban as Skurge, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and even Idris Elba is back as Heimdall, and Anthony Hopkins as Odin. Apart from them, there are some of our favourite Marvel characters showing up too (let's not spoil the surprise).

5 The Stunning Visuals Creating The Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The visual influence including special effects and production design is spectacularly amazing! Right from Asgard, the wall-paintings, weapons, doors, armours to the costumes and make-up, it all impeccably defines the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Jack Kirby who is the guy behind the co-creation of a major part of the Marvel Universe, has done an outstanding job here.

6 Marvel's Foray Into A New Terrain

Compared to the previous Marvel films, it looks like the team is now ready to get experimental. Right from the retro font of the title, to the look of the characters, they have taken the risk to change a lot. Instead of following the same old visuals as of the previous two films, they have worked on improvising much. They have really nailed the mythological look while maintaining a high-tech vibe that hits the right chord.
