It’s been a while, but guess what? I'm backβ€”and this time, for the long haul! Shout out to @jaydr for giving me the push I needed. I'm here to stay, and I’ve come armed with more experience, more knowledge, and more determination to create engaging content that makes a difference.

Here’s the thing: I’ve noticed that a lot of people struggle to understand medical topics because the explanations are often way too complex. So, I’m on a mission to break it down into simple, relatable, and digestible pieces of information.

Holistic Medicine is the New Deal

After reflecting on what kind of doctor I truly want to be, I’ve decided to embrace holistic medicine. Why? Because too many times, we’re only treating symptoms instead of addressing the whole person. Patients come into the hospital and leave with a prescription, but so much is left unspoken, unexplored. I don’t want to treat people like checkboxesβ€”I want to see the person behind the symptoms.

This means my content will cover a wide range of topics, both general and specific, but always with a focus on you as a person, not just your symptoms.

Mental Health: The Foundation of It All

Through my research, I’ve found that improving mental health can create ripple effects that improve overall well-being. When we address the mind, it empowers the body to heal. A sound mind can face and respond to treatment far better, allowing other areas of health to improve as well.

What to Expect from My Posts

From here on, expect more engaging posts on a variety of medical topics. I’ll make sure everything is actionable, so you can immediately start living healthier.

Here are a few steps you can take right now:

  1. Daily Mindfulness Practice: Spend 5-10 minutes a day being still, focusing on your breath. This reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, and boosts mental clarity.

  2. Hydration Station: Drink enough waterβ€”dehydration makes everything worse, including your mood.

  3. Sleep Like It's Your Job: Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep a night. Your brain and body do their best recovery work while you’re dreaming about whatever it is you dream about (no judgment here).

Final Word:

The best way to live a healthy life is to arm yourself with the right information. So, if you’re not already following me, this is your sign! You won't want to miss the next post, trust me.

See you soonβ€”and remember, laughter might not be the best medicine (that’s penicillin, let's be honest), but it sure makes the journey easier! πŸ˜„

Catch you in the next post!

PS:
I am Covenant, a Medical Doctor. I am interested in holistic medicine( fancy word for treating a patient as an individual and not just the symptoms). I am passionate about mental health and how it affects health in general. I write content across different medical subjects, although mental health content would be more. Follow me for more on holistic medicine.
