If you have not known her yet, meet the most superior summoner in the Modern format - Lux Vega.
I first got to meet this summoner on the battlefield and each time I faced it, I knew I would fail even before the results came out. Then one day, I decided to try my best and somehow I defeated Lux whose name by the way resembles a famous soap in our country. Lux is usually used by people like movie stars and yea, this Lux is also very beautiful.
Anyways, that win was the only one. So, I took the difficult decision to rent her, and then my rating changed and I could easily reach Champion 3. It is the third season now that I reach Champion and although the rewards are not very dramatically different, it was the kick of reaching Champion that made me rent this summoner each season in spite of the cost involved.
I am not sure if I am ever in profit but then I play Splinterlands because I love to play the game and not for the profit alone.
So, the card is in max. Renting is profitable in the max leagues but I am not sure if players in the lower leagues rent and play. The rent is also very high but I will advise you to try rent at the beginning of the season when rent is lower when compared to the rest of the days.
The superiority of the summoner comes from the fact that she is almost like AA of wild format.
Plus one to Speed, Health, and armor. Naturally, the extra protection makes the team stronger and the win rate increases but it is not always a bed of roses because I have faced defeats when I meet Immortalis. That summoner is really powerful and when the right monsters are used, then it is really powerful. The new soul-bound rewards in green are also very good.
Lux Vega in my opinion has to be marketed a lot because not many outside of Hive know about this game and even the players of the lower leagues may not have used it at all. The beauty of the splinterlands game is such that people have yet to make use of many different combinations that can win. Players have to experiment and also talk, discuss, and market the game if possible because new entrants will be fascinated by this game and it is good for all including the economy.
Another thing to point out is that guilds or players can delegate this card and other such powerful cards to new players so that they experience the power and then invest more in this game. That is how I started investing in the first place because veteran players used to gift us with cards and delegations that increased interest. Anyways, I hope we can all join hands and make this the finest game ever made in the history of the internet.
