Team Ctrl + Shift + N is comprised of three dedicated and talented developers: Prateek (Team Lead) , Sujal, and Manav. As innovators in the field of e-waste management, we have developed ReGenesis, a platform designed to revolutionize the way electronic waste is managed, handled and processed.

Our team is enthusiastic about blockchain technology, particularly the Hive Blockchain. ReGenesis is our inaugural project for the Hive Hackathon, where we are applying our skills to create a sustainable and efficient solution for e-waste management.

By connecting e-waste generators with eco-friendly buyers, ReGenesis facilitates the recycling and repurposing of electronic waste. Users can securely log in with Hive Keychain, list and browse e-waste items, write and read green blogs, and engage with the community through upvotes and comments. Buyers can make offers using Hive Backed Dollars (HBD), ensuring seamless transactions. With features like city and country selection, category-based browsing, and a seller dashboard, ReGenesis provides a comprehensive and user-friendly solution to reduce environmental impact and promote sustainability.

Resource Waste: E-waste contains valuable materials like gold and copper, but only $10 billion out of $57 billion worth of raw materials was recovered in 2019. Informal recycling also leads to unsafe practices and missed economic opportunities.
