It's true that name calling really doesn't get us closer to actually solving the problems and getting on the same page. I agree... But I can also understand why @world-travel-pro is so upset here.

I, like him, make use of my actual likeness and so that brings things to a more personal level (especially with regards to racial insults in what should be a professional operation.)

Both @world-travel-pro and myself have pictures of our real life persons on this blockchain as we have attempted to build real and lasting connections founded on trust here on the blockchain.

Being picked apart by people who don't use their actual likeness can be a little unnerving especially when those doing so know you for you and the asymmetry is apparent in that we don't really know who you are.

In matters of trust therefore... this can be very upsetting especially when your talking about a body of work that's been benefiting the blockchain for 5 years in duration.

Let's be honest here...

As content creators we are compensated via the tokenomics of the blockchain... That does not, however, mean that the exchange is a valueless one TO THE BLOCKCHAIN.

Hive got to host the content instead of some other Social2.0 (or competing blockchain) thereby driving attention and relevance to the blockchain.

This of course means a whole lot more when we are talking about a REAL flesh and blood person publishing content to Hive.

This should merit extra care in HOW these matters are pursued don't you think?

@world-travel-pro, I understand WHY your upset in many of your comment and in this post it's self. I would feel much the same way honestly. Here's something that might help as a guide post through this all:

@nonameslefttouse... I can understand why your not happy with being spoken to (above) in this way... But perhaps a little understanding would go a long way?

I certainly would like to see these matters resolve in a more constructive way than what I have witnessed... but in the end we are dealing with real life human-beings and THAT is exactly why HOW we human matters on the blockchain.

Let's all keep it classy shall we?
