I'm back in the swing of things with my Hive account and lately, it has been going amazing! As you all know I recently hit my 5,000 Hive Power Goal and since then my account has been on a crazy growth spurt.
I increased my by 100 in the shortest amount of time that I can remember, which makes sense because of math but still amazing in practice and experience.
My main thing has been to keep buying and powering up and doing "100% Power Up Rewards" on my post every once in a while. I feel like my timing on these tasks over the summer has been perfect timing and will pay off big when crypto starts another run...
Nothing like staking Hive Power While it's cheap.
Along with this, the faster I earn Hive Power, the faster I get to adjust my delegations!
I like to keep the amount of Hive Power I delegate between 20-30% of my total HP. Just a Personal preference. I feel like it helps me grow my account without having to do EVERYTHING by myself.
It helps the communities that I delegate to and I get plenty of rewards back in the form of liquid Hive, Hive-engine tokens, upvotes, Re-hives, and other services.
If you're new to Hive I'd suggest doing some digging around and asking people who have been around Hive what services they use. There are some really cool subcommunities that you can work with to help them as they help you grow your account...
On the creative side of things, I've been all about creating memes lately.
They're honestly not the best but I'm having way too much fun to stop making them and they really do add another element to my posts that I enjoy.
I use a lot of imgflip.com and just get in there and have fun with it. If you've used Canva in the past to do thumbnails and things, you shouldn't have any problems creating with Imageflip.
I love how they let me add extra images and customize the image in a really simple way on both desktop and mobile browsers.
There is a saying out there that "Long-form content is boring" and I say "Long-form content is only boring if you make it boring. PEW PEW"...
Hopefully, the creative upgrades will help me connect with a new corner of the Hive community though.
I feel like there's a lot of opportunity to combine this with the skills that I have in Canva to make some cool Web3-inspired collage art and thumbnails in the future.
I'll keep playing around with tools and exploring my editing skills, but some crazy cool stuff is coming for sure...
