โญโœ๏ธ SCRIBE SPOTLIGHT ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ‰ thinkrdotexe ๐Ÿนโœจ๐Ÿ‘จ

Fellow Scholars and Scribes! I bid you welcome to the first annual SCRIBE SPOTLIGHT! ๐Ÿ™Œ mosh pit ensues ๐Ÿ™Œ

At the end of each year, we will take a couple of weeks (maybe more actually ๐Ÿ˜…) to highlight our most diligent and talented authors. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Our primary metric for choosing is the amount of SCRIBE you've generated.

Of course, there are other factors at play: your activity in the community, the number of writings you have posted, as well as your overall conduct with other members.

All quotes in this showcase are from the spotlighted creator's works.

It is my absolute pleasure to announce our next showcase. ๐Ÿ˜ Since he made his home among us, our community hasn't been the same. The arbiter of the Scribes... ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ

๐Ÿ‘ thinkrdotexe ๐Ÿ‘

@thinkrdotexe has been with us for a while. When he joined us, he was but a stray lamb - hungry and determined. Not in our wildest imaginings could we have predicted his evolution into a scholarly deer - majestic and with glasses. ๐ŸฆŒ๐Ÿ•ถ๏ธ

This transformation is living proof of the belief that a Scribe can in fact become a Scholar. I have submitted my finding to MIT and await the scholarship as we speak. ๐Ÿ’ช

But I am getting ahead of myself...

At first, @thinkrdotexe was dipping his itty-bitty toes in the water. Unsure of what his newfound family would think of him -

...so he decided to publish a "Choose Your Own Adventure" serial novella, go figure. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

The man manages to wrest his clothing free with a rip, spluttering and grasping at his injured head. He takes a moment to assess his blood-smeared hand and furiously spits out, "Yer gonna regret that, ya piece of shit! Yer gonna hang tamorrow fer killin' the Sheriff."

As you can see our boy excels at writing visceral scenes. Very few words are wasted as he conveys precisely what he intends. This, dear readers takes a lot of practice. And we say kudos! to anyone willing to put that time into their craft. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

The fleeting look of fear that crossed her face subsides at the last statement. She slowly nods her head in agreement, takes your hand in hers. Her soft skin feels foreign against yours, like velvet greeting rough-hewn wood, but you don't fight it nor the momentary comfort it brings. "Thank you" she gasps painfully, exerting the effort to speak in spite of her injury.

Not soon after, he decided to put away his now-stained quill for some reading glasses. Not because he could not see - oh no dear reader. This exchange was born out of passion, not necessity. To be the arbiter of the mythical Scholar and Scribes one must protect one's eyes when reading the ancient texts! ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ‘€

Yes, @thinkrdotexe became the host of the annual Monthly Scholar and Scribe contest. A gauntlet for the most talented and ambitious authors out there. When I asked him about the workload he merely scoffed and pointed to his massive head. ๐Ÿง

Cold and calculated, an adrenaline surge will only dull your senses and cloud your mind.

The mad lad also wrote a poem dedicated to his fellow Scholars and Scribes if that ain't a G, what is? ๐Ÿ˜Ž

And, most importantly, is the nicest and humblest person you will ever talk to. Hardworking and passionate. I wish him well and eagerly await the return of his pen. โœ๏ธ

Violets are blue,
