Hello and the happiest of season's greetings to you all! We have pushed hard here and.... still not done. But! Probably we are further ahead than if we had not pushed so hard! So that's a bonus.
From where we last let off, there was tiling happening. The tiles were heavy and expensive, but we brought them into position.
Hopefully we picked the right ones!
The bathrooms are looking good, with a green and white theme. Hot water shower heads remain untested because we need water.
A water tower has been poured.
Up there will go the water tank that feeds the whole set up, the sinks, the toilets and the showers.
The kitchenette is coming into view as well.
On another front, we desperately needed to re-do the entrance to the farm. All the horse loads of material had turned it into absolute mush. The front fence had fallen down and we restored it with some local bamboo from the farm.
We used these bamboos as well to give the entrance some structure.
Then we pounded some rocks into place to help to stabilize what is mostly clay and limes.
We are getting close, hopefully we will have (mostly) everything ready for a party on the 29th. Fingers crossed!
