dCITY is a city simulator game based on Hive-Engine Non Fungible Tokens. The NFTs represent assets in the game. Each individual card a building, citizen, etc., and the total collection of your cards is your city. dCITY allow players to optimize their cities in terms of buildings, population, and income. The aim of the game is to buy new buildings, but also use diplomacy and tact with fellow players to achieve the materials you need to grow and prosper. Obviously, there are several ways you can approach this, but we’ll let you learn them on your own and test them out.

This is a numbers game, but with the added randomness of society. There will be events which can have either a positive or negative impact on your city, depending on how your city is built. Choose wisely when helping or refusing to help another player. They might need your help today, but you never know when you might need their help in the future.

Counting ROI of Cards and SIM income Potential From Leaderboard and NFT Claim

Since this game is all aabout calculation, i am sure that people that want or already play this game is make their own calculation, including myself. One of those calculation is about RoI. While the normal RoI could take a long period, the reward that we could get from getting into top 400 sim income leaderboard could actually boost your SIM income, here is why :

#1.Free NFT Reward Daily
Yap, this is the major boost for our income on the DCity, if you manage to get on the top 400 on sim income leaderboard, you can claim the free young citizen NFT which valued 944 SIM on the last price market info, or you can get a fast SIM by selling it on the highest bid of 702 SIM.

#2.Daily SIM bonus for leaderboard.
Next there is the SIM reward based on your leaderboard position. As example, here is my daily SIM reward by getting into 376 position of SIM income leaderboard, with just 3 SIM income !

And let's take a look at the 1st position, this man got 202,610 SIM income daily, and got the leaderboard prize of 12,451 SIM income daily, which worth around 2,898 hive based on current bid price on the market price !

Trying to Count the BEP

But today, I would like to create my own calculation as well, because I'm that type of personn that won't easily trust before make my own calculation.

First we need 3 income, because the 400th position is done with 2 SIM income, and there is some people below it with 2 income as well, so getting 3 income will secure the leaderboard at the moment.

To get 3 income, Wind turbine is a great option, because it could generate 3 income with just 2 workers needed. This mean it has 3:2 income:worker ratio, a great one (there is another card with even better ration, but it cost more and since our target is just 3 income, this wind turbine is perfect).

This wind turbine is cost 490 SIM on current ask price at the market.

Next we need 2 population as the worker to make the wind turbine works (yeah, those workers on wind turbine or another building means it need those ammount of population to activate the cards).

To simplify the population and tax refund, we could get 2 eco activist with 2 population and 4 tax refund already. Eco activist is cost 1920 SIM for each, and will cost 3840 for 2 bcx.
2 eco activist will get you 2 population and 4 tax refund stats, and those 2 population will make the wind turbine card works to generate 3 SIM daily.
Now you would get 3 SIM daily from the tax refund (can't exceed the income since we only got 3).

Now let's count the BEP.

All those 3 cards is totally cost 4330 SIM. Now let's count the income :
#1.3 SIM daily from the cards;
#2.12.315 SIM daily from the leaderboards; and
#3.944 SIM from the young citizen selling

All those 3 will get you 959.315 daily SIM. And with 4330 as our source, we could get BEP in less than 5 days ! Such a crazy number isn't it ?!!

But, I want to remind you some things here :
#1.There is expired for citizen card that will lead them become dead citizen. I already got 2 of them on different day, so be carefull and try getting the highest ID number which mean they are newer. And this would lead the APR calculation would miss depend on their lifetime left;
#2.The income needed to reach the top 400 might chance of the people is decide to improve their income, or there is simple many people started join this game after read this post !
#3.The card price might change before we got the chance to bought them, so don't wait too long;
#4.Don't think about creating many ID and discord for claiming the free young citizen NFT, as it will considered as exploiting the game !

What I've Learned So Far

Before I close this blog, I wan't to share one last important things for the new people that want to play this game and for myself as reminder. I would like to put some point that I've learned about this game :
1.Citizen have it's own life, once they meet their limit of NFT minted, the old one will dead. So it's better bought the newest id of citizen;
2.Building have no expired, so they will long last;
3.Put NFT on market and you will lose it's effect on your city. This can help you to offload the dead citizen or other cards with negative effect;
4.Top 400 from SIM Income will get you free mint for the young citizen NFT.
5.Always look at ID of citizen when you want to bought them, because the system won't remove them even they are dead already on selling process, you might get dead people instead.
6.You can check your city value by using !city_value on Dcity discord - cityhelper channel.

Next Step

Well, there is many category that have the leaderboard category, I want to try calculate them in case they have higher APR ! And of course I'm looking to build my city to grow bigger, and waiting my sim power to 1 million to get access to SIM Millionaire Club, because I already got my 1 million SIM on my pocket.
