There is a Tea for every Reason and every Season. During the week our ladies group was offered a chance to visit one of the newly opened Tea Boutique which offers a variety of Tea. The owner has a strong passion towards Tea and newly started this venture bringing a variety of Teas under one roof. I have good knowledge of varieties of Teas that are available, but this place blew me off with all that it has to offer. There are Teas for Detox, Relaxation, Sleep, tummy fat loss, and what not.
They also sell Tea accessories. There were some very fancy things but everything is priced on the higher side. You do not always have to but it, sometimes it is good to see and know.
The most famous Teas are also kept in loose for anyone who would like to see.
The owner gave us a briefing about the Teas and how this whole journey started with them.
The Teas were classified into 5 major categories Black Tea, Green Tea, Fruit Tea, Herbal and Floral Tea and White Tea. I knew about the first 4 but White Tea I was not aware of it and was good information for me. The White Teas are the most expensive ones.
This is one of the most expensive Tea in the shop. The properties of the Tea is that it is high in antioxidants and good for the Heart and Brain Health. It is a collection from the White Tea. These Teas have a very limited production, they are made from the first yield and their demand is also high which makes them expensive.
There was a Tea tasting session. There was Green, Fruit and Black Tea for the tasting. They explained us how to maintain different temperatures of these Teas to have good benefits. The Green is at the lowest. I felt it cold, I am used to having a hot tea. I wonder if I am following the right thing till now :-) The Black Tea could be had at a higher temperature, but the Green one at not more then 85 degrees. I am normally used to having it at 120 degrees.
This is where all the Teas are kept loose if someone wants to get the fragrance. It is a good way of display and to understand what one can expect from the box.
Some beautiful tea sets at sale and very expensive. It had a cost of around 70 $ for this set.
We were offered macrons and dates with the Tea.
It gave a very delightful experience. But too heavily priced. If I have to think of consumption on daily basis then it would not be economical. I did not buy anything at this moment. I am thinking of taking hubby along if he would be interested in taking something.
