Hello splinter nerds
Have you tested your Zyriel in battle yet? It is the first monster that can be used in two different splinters ...The life and death splinter is blessed with this monster...
I checked the stats and aside being a multi-element monster, it has good stats that are pretty useful in battle....
Weapons training: This ability is quiet useful when placed beside monsters without attack, for example almo cambio will do great when this monster is placed beside it and what makes it more better is that it has range attack so it can be placed anywhere except the front position as it won't be able to attack from the front role....
Life leech: This is one of my favorite ability, getting stronger by wrecking havoc on the opponent monsters, the more attack he does to an opponent, the more her life increases....This ability helped me in the battle i will reveal below...
Divine shield: She has a one time pass at any kind of attack....
Rust: This takes away 2 armor from the opponent, and sometimes leave some of the opponent unprotected without armor and hence vulnerable to my attacks....
I was paired with ram.here in a three battle rule set...
Counter spell: All magic attack have the magic reflect ability..
Aimless: All monsters attack have no direction, they all have the scatter shot ability...
Noxious fumes: All monsters start the battle poisoned...
Normally, i use scarred llama mage in noxious fume rule but i wanted to really try out power of zyriel so i used byzantine kitty instead...
The opponent tried, it was a tough battle and i almost lost it, thanks to the healer, resurrect and most especially the life leech of zyriel, that keep her in the battle till the end....
At first, she took the armor given by the opponent spirit of the forest making them vulnerable to my attacks...
Even with the scatter shot ability, she was targetted alot but the divine shield and life leech she keeps getting saved her....
